Apply an undercoat to the entire model, ensuring complete coverage, then allow to dry. Apply a second coat for better coverage, and a third if needed.

Base coat the inside of the cloak, gun casing, ribbing between armour panels, and loincloth.

Base coat all gold details including the Aquila on the chest, right knee detail, trinkets, shoulder trim and wings, power fist detail, and Iron Halo on the backpack.

1. Base coat the tassels and wax seals.

2. Base coat the outside of the cloak. Allow the first layer to dry completely before applying a second coat to avoid unwanted texturing.

Base coat the skin on the face and the parchment on the loincloth seal.

1. Base coat the soil on the base.

2. Base coat the rock the marine is standing on.

3. Paint the rim of the base.

Apply a shade to the entire miniature to create depth. Work in small sections and soak up any excess paint.

Apply an undercoat to the entire model, allowing each layer to dry completely before applying the next, until a solid undercoat is achieved.

Base coat all armour trim and selected weapon details like the handle, trims, and back casing.

Base coat the working metals of the gun, backpack, and any other small metallic areas. Change water in your pot after this step to avoid metallic flakes contaminating other paints.

Base coat the Nurgling, and any horns and teeth on the model.

Base coat all slime and gunk found on the model.

Base coat the Nurgling's tongue and any other fleshy or tentacle-like bits. Take your time with these smaller details.

1. Base coat the soil on the base and the loincloth.

2. Base coat the rock on the base.

1. Apply a shade over the Nurgling and fungal infection details, watching for pooling and soaking up excess.

2. Apply a shade over the rest of the details on the model, including the base, taking care to avoid areas painted with Carroburg Crimson.

3. Paint the rim of the base.
