Apply an undercoat to the entire model.

Base coat all areas intended to be black, such as the coat, hat, weapon casing, and boots, covering any areas where the spray might have missed.

Base coat all red sections, including the power claw, power pack, collar, inside of the cloak, cloth around the waist, and the sword handle.

Base coat all silver areas, such as parts of the power claw, the tubes connecting to the power pack, Yarrick's augmented eye, and elements on the other weapon, using several thin layers for a smooth coat.

Base coat the trousers and all leather sections like belts, pouches, and the holster.

Base coat all gold areas, including the sword hilt, shoulder pads, and any other gold ornaments across the model.

Base coat all bronze areas, such as a buckle and a piece on the power pack, applying several layers for full coverage.

Base coat the white details like the chest piece, the skull on the hat, the augmented eye lens, and the lights on the power pack. Also base coat the coat trim and tassels, requiring a few layers as painting over black.

Base coat the crest on Yarrick's cap.

1. Recess shade the red and leather areas.

2. Apply an all-over shade to the Leadbelcher, Balthasar Gold, Corax White chest piece, and Loren Forest crest areas. Mix in Lahmian Medium first to make the shade more subtle on brighter base coats.

3. Mix Lahmian Medium with Gore-Grunta Fur and shade all the Retributor Armour sections.

1. Base coat the face, thinning the paint a little more than usual to avoid unwanted texturing, building up a solid coat with several very thin layers.

2. Block in the entire eye socket with Abaddon Black.

3. Add a tiny bit of Corax White on either side of the eye.

4. Add a small amount of Corax White to the teeth.

5. Add a soft shade to the face by thinning down Targor Rageshade. Apply to all the sculpted details, under the cheekbones, and on either side of the temple.

6. For the deepest recesses on the face, add straight Targor Rageshade without thinning.

7. Layer for the highlights on the skin, building up several thin layers to create a natural-looking highlight.

1. Paint the eye lens and the bottom light of the power pack.

2. Paint the other light on the power pack.

Paint the coat trim and hat trim, as well as all the tassels. Add extra layers to make it darker if desired, mimicking a non-metallic shine.

1. Highlight Yarrick's coat and hat.

2. Add a second highlight to all the raised edges and areas of the coat and hat.

3. Highlight all the red sections, including the power claw.

4. Add a further highlight on the very sharpest points of the red sections.

5. Highlight the leather details (can be stippled for a weathered effect).

6. Highlight the black sections.

7. Finish up highlighting the black sections on the corners and most raised edges.

8. Highlight all the metallics (gold, bronze, and silver).

9. Apply a dot highlight to all the tassels and coat trim.

10. Highlight the crest on the hat.

1. Base coat the rubble on the base.

2. Shade all over the rubble on the base.

3. Apply the textured paint to the base once the shade is dry.

4. Shade the Armageddon Dust textured paint.

5. Dry brush the base.

6. Paint the base rim.
