    Base coat all red sections, including the power claw, power pack, collar, inside of the cloak, cloth around the waist, and the sword handle.

    Base coat all bronze areas, such as a buckle and a piece on the power pack, applying several layers for full coverage.

    Base coat the white details like the chest piece, the skull on the hat, the augmented eye lens, and the lights on the power pack. Also base coat the coat trim and tassels, requiring a few layers as painting over black.

General Shading

    Recess shade the red and leather areas.

    Apply an all-over shade to the Leadbelcher, Balthasar Gold, Corax White chest piece, and Loren Forest crest areas. Mix in Lahmian Medium first to make the shade more subtle on brighter base coats.

Face (Skin)

    Base coat the face, thinning the paint a little more than usual to avoid unwanted texturing, building up a solid coat with several very thin layers.

    Block in the entire eye socket with Abaddon Black.

    Add a tiny bit of Corax White on either side of the eye.

    Add a soft shade to the face by thinning down Targor Rageshade. Apply to all the sculpted details, under the cheekbones, and on either side of the temple.

    For the deepest recesses on the face, add straight Targor Rageshade without thinning.

    Layer for the highlights on the skin, building up several thin layers to create a natural-looking highlight.

Eye Lens & Power Pack Lights (Contrast)

    Paint the eye lens and the bottom light of the power pack.

Coat Trim & Tassels (Contrast)

    Paint the coat trim and hat trim, as well as all the tassels. Add extra layers to make it darker if desired, mimicking a non-metallic shine.

Highlights

    Highlight Yarrick's coat and hat.

    Add a second highlight to all the raised edges and areas of the coat and hat.

    Highlight all the red sections, including the power claw.
