Paint the entire model with Zandri Dust from the pot using an extra large base brush, ensuring all areas are covered.

Apply chunky, wavy camouflage lines using Castellan Green with a large dry brush, and stipple the paint to soften the transitions between colors.

Drybrush Zandri Dust back over the edges of the Castellan Green camouflage patterns to blend them more naturally.

Basecoat the barrels on the back of the tank with Death Guard Green using a small STC base brush.

Recess shade all panel lines and recesses on the tank by mixing Rhinox Hide with Lahmian Medium to create a grime-like effect.

Lightly drybrush Ushabti Bone over the entire model to highlight raised areas and further blend the camouflage colors.

Basecoat all silver details, such as antennas, weapon casings, and main gun barrels, with Leadbelcher using a medium base brush.

Basecoat the sub-assembly tracks and sponsons with Leadbelcher.

Apply Agrax Earthshade to all shaded silver details and the wheels where the tracks attach, using a medium STC shade brush.

Drybrush Stormhost Silver over the fully silver areas, like the tracks and sponsons, using a small dry brush.

Apply Stormhost Silver to intricate silver areas, such as the end of weapon barrels, using a small STC layer brush.

Optionally, apply Agrax Earthshade to some silver details to tint them into a more bronzed color using a small base brush.

Basecoat the pads on the tracks, some weapon casings, and specific lenses with Abaddon Black using a small STC base brush.

Shade the black details using Agrax Earthshade with a small base brush.

Highlight the black details using Dark Reaper with a small layer brush.

Apply a small amount of Khorne Red to the lower third of each lens, leaving some black visible.

Apply Evil Sunz Scarlet even more towards the bottom corner of the lenses, leaving some Khorne Red showing between this and the black.

Add a super tiny amount of Fire Dragon Bright right in the corner of the lenses.

Add a tiny dot of Corax White in the opposite corner to the red and orange highlights to simulate light reflection.

Basecoat the searchlight and other lenses with Corax White.

Apply Blood Angels Red to the basecoated lenses and a little around the edge to create a quick and easy glowing effect.

For the searchlight, mix Nighthaunt Gloom with a little Contrast Medium and apply it to make the color more subtle, as the light is not meant to be on.

Citadel — NIGHTHAUNT GLOOM

Use Rhinox Hide and a piece of sponge to dab on light chipping across the hull, focusing on corners and raised areas.

Sponge on Leadbelcher on the very sharpest edges and corners, alongside the Rhinox Hide, to create the impression of deeper cuts and scratches.
